Refund Policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

This policy explains when a ticket or pass booked through My Digi Event can be refunded, how much comes back, and how to ask for it. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. The short version

Tickets are sold for a specific event on a specific date. Once a booking is confirmed, sales are final and we do not offer refunds for change of mind, including if you cannot attend, are running late, or your plans change.

Refunds are issued when the event does not go ahead as sold — cancellation, rescheduling, or a material change by the organiser — and where payment has failed or been taken twice. Those cases are set out below.

2. If the event is cancelled

If an organiser cancels an event outright, you are refunded the face value of your ticket.

You do not need to apply. Refunds for a cancelled event are initiated to the original payment method once the organiser confirms the cancellation to us.

3. If the event is postponed or rescheduled

Your ticket remains valid for the rescheduled date and no action is needed to keep it.

If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund of the ticket face value within 7 days of the new date being announced. After that window the ticket stays valid for the new date but is no longer refundable.

For a multi-day event, if some nights go ahead and others do not, the refund covers the affected nights only.

4. If the event changes

Line-ups and running order can change, and a change of artist, performer or running time is not on its own grounds for a refund.

Where a change is material — a change of venue, or a headline act billed as the main draw no longer appearing — we will say at the time whether refunds are available and by when you must claim.

5. Payment problems

  • Money debited but no ticket issued: the amount is normally reversed automatically by the payment gateway within 5–7 working days. If it has not arrived after 7 working days, contact us with your transaction reference and we will trace it.
  • Charged twice for the same booking: contact us and we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Payment failed: no ticket is issued and no booking exists. Any amount held by your bank is released by them.

6. What is not refundable

  • Complimentary, sponsor and drop passes, which are issued free of charge and carry no monetary value.
  • Tickets for an event you did not attend, where the event went ahead as sold.
  • Tickets where entry was refused, or where you were removed from the venue, because of a breach of the entry conditions in our Terms and Conditions.
  • Tickets bought from anyone other than us or an authorised seller. We can only refund what we sold.

7. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method used for the booking. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account or UPI ID.

We initiate approved refunds within 7 working days. How long the money then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer and is typically a further 5–10 working days.

8. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your booking, or call us, and include:

  • The booking or order reference from your confirmation.
  • The mobile number the pass was issued to.
  • The event name and date.
  • The reason for the request.

We acknowledge requests within 3 working days and aim to decide within 7. If we decline, we will tell you why.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
